To sustain our growth and support our operations industry, our company seeks to hire an Accountant to prepare financial reports and adjust journal entries, analyze our accounting records and financial statements, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. The Accountant will also collect and analyze financial data to assist us with budgeting, tax planning, and financial forecasting, providing management with insights that guide our decisions on cost control and strategic planning.

​The Accountant will perform the following duties:
• Record and categorize daily financial transactions in company accounting systems and prepare and analyze accounting records and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Track and monitor job costs, budgets, and variances for multiple construction projects, analyzing business operations, trends, revenues, and expenses to project future results and compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including adjusting journal entries and reconciliations, to provide timely information to management.
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements.
• Support external audits and ensure compliance with tax filings and industry regulations by inspecting accounting systems, collecting and analyzing data to detect deficient controls or non-compliance, and preparing documentation for auditors.
• Develop, implement, and document record-keeping and accounting systems, leveraging current technology to improve efficiency and data integrity.
• Report to management about asset utilization, financial performance, and audit results, and recommend changes in operations or financial activities to improve cost effectiveness
• Establish tables of accounts, assign entries to proper accounts, and review accounts for discrepancies, reconciling differences and ensuring proper categorization of transactions.

Minimum Requirements:
• Master's degree in accounting, auditing, or a related field.
• 2 years of work experience as an accountant performing tax and financial analysis for business entities.
• Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.
